Zusammenfassung:O    OBJECTIVES: To document the frequency of anemia in all patients who presented to out-patient and/or in-patient in a tertiary level hospital in Peshawar PAKISTAN and to find the frequency of various grades of anemia in male and female patients. METHODOLOGY: This retrospective, chart-based, descriptive, institu­tion-based study was conducted in Department of Pathology, Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar. A total of 16,000 ‘full blood count’ reports were reviewed for this study which were performed from 15th March, 2012 to 15th June, 2012.
