Zusammenfassung:Palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP) is a chronic dermatosis that presents as multiple, small, hyperkeratotic or pustular lesions predominantly affecting the palms and soles. It is characterized by eruptions of sterile pustules on an erythematous squamous background. A 57 year old man presenting with recurrent pruritic palmar sterile pustules of 5 years duration following prolonged exposure and handling of stationaries and paper materials at place of work using his bare hands. Patient does not smoke cigarette, he is not a known diabetic, no history suggestive of autoimmune disorders and no family history of psoriasis. Histopathologic findings revealed multiple spongiotic vesicles containing mononuclear cells and neutrophils within the malphigian layer. He is currently being managed with corticosteroids and advised on personal protective wears. Keywords: Chronic, palms, paper materials, sterile pustules
