Zusammenfassung: | Ectodermal dysplasia syndrome is a group of hereditary disorders affecting the structures developing from the ectoderm. More than 150 different types have been described with the most common being the hypohidrotic and the hidrotic types. Complete or partial anodontia, trichodysplasia, onychodysplasia, and dyshidrosis are the major symptoms of this condition. Prosthetic treatment often involves replacement of the congenitally missing teeth. This article describes a case report on prosthetic management of an ectodermal dysplasia patient. |
