The assessment of plasma asprosin levels in acute coronary artery disease and its correlation with HEART score

Objective: It was aimed to compare the serum asprosin levels in patients with ischemic heart disease with healthy subjects, and to evaluate the relationship between asprosin levels with HEART score and mortality in the patients with coronary heart disease. Material and methods: This study was designed as a single-center, prospective study. Sixty-two patients who presented with acute chest pain and underwent digital subtraction coronary angiography and 31 healthy subjects were included in the study. Fasting serum asprosin levels were compared between patients and healthy individuals. The HEART score was calculated for each individual, and its relations with asprosin and one-month mortality were evaluated.
