Zusammenfassung:The research process carried out had as its primary objective to determine which are the teaching practices and their relationship with the pedagogical model of the Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña University; It was framed under a qualitative research, since it was necessary in the first instance, to resort to the interview technique and focus groups, as well as observation, which allowed to recognize some educational practices of the teachers. The study made it possible to determine that teaching practices are not aligned with the pedagogical model of the University, which is Social Constructivism, so it is necessary to establish an improvement plan aimed at strengthening teaching practices and that these in turn were relevant with the pedagogical model
