Zusammenfassung:2018 has been characterized by the explosive emergence of feminist mobilizations which has become known as “the feminist May” or “the feminist springtime” or ―even― the beginning of a “new feminist wave”. The emphasis on domestic violence ―at first mainly sexual violence― characterized the protests that came to life primarily in university settings. A cultural approach to this mobilization helps to shed light on certain aspects that are associated with the scope of this kind of mobilization beyond its institutional “success” or “failure”.
