Zusammenfassung:This article aims to identify and study the features of the processes of forming a worldview in the current conditions of the development of modern digital space. To do this, the authors analyze the existing discourses on this issue in the academic environment. The intensive development of global and national digital infrastructure and relevant digital communication technologies, and the "immersion" of modern people in the digital environment are, according to the authors, significant factors influencing the processes of formation and transformation of existing worldview systems. This is primarily due to the communication foundations of the construction of worldview components by virtue of what transformations in the communicative environment inevitably lead to changes in the structure and content of worldview models as a whole. To achieve the research aim, the authors use a discourse analysis of academic publications classified by 3 main lines as skeptical, alarmist and progressive. It is concluded that the existing approaches to understanding the complex and multidimensional processes of the influence of digital communications on worldview systems are ambiguous. Simultaneously, the very potential of the influence of the digital environment and digital communication technologies on the content and structural aspects of worldview complexes is defined by most scientists as significant, regardless of what kind and nature of influence they postulate. No less significant are the opportunities associated with such an influence, as well as risks, threats, and challenges in relation to the transformation of worldview systems. It allows us to conclude that political science research in this area is highly relevant.
