Zusammenfassung:In this study, calcium carbonate, sepiolite, and commonly used diatomite (DE) carriers were mixed to prepare calcium carbonate or sepiolite mixed DE/nano-titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ). The analyses of X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope confirmed that the particle size of nano-TiO 2 was about 20–24 nm in DE/nano-TiO 2 , and the particles were relatively uniform. When (calcium carbonate and sepiolite + DE)/nano-TiO 2 was used, the Ti content in the composite remained unchanged, while the particle size of nano-TiO 2 increased to a certain extent. Among them, the use of (calcium carbonate + DE)/nano-TiO 2 increased the Ti content in the composite material significantly. Therefore, the findings demonstrated the feasibility of nano-TiO 2 supported by the mixed carrier.
