Zusammenfassung:The possibility of observing negative Shapiro-like gravitational time delay (or time advancement) due to the Earth’s gravity employing interferometric experiments on the Earth’s surface is discussed. It is suggested that such a measurement may be realized in the near future with the help of modern versions of Michelson–Morley-type experiments.
