Zusammenfassung:As a teacher of French language and literature we study in this paper the contribution of the literature to the teaching of the phonetics. Through a few limited number of texts taken out from Ionesco’s The Bald Singer, Pagnol’s The Glory of my father and Trenet’s The Extraordinary garden, Songs of a whole life, from three different genres, we try to demonstrate how the properties of literary parole support good pronunciation of the students. The examples given from this teaching view make produce and corroborate the teacher’s resources in the task of ameliorating his students’ oral expression. One can see in three parts of the paper the beauty of sonority in the literary texts and their impact on the participation, practice and curosity of the learners.
