Zusammenfassung:Thermal spraying is a coating process combining various techniques to protect the materials from a variety of adverse tribological, mechanical, and thermal conditions. Ni-base alloys are widely used to obtain high wear/corrosion-resistant coatings. In the present study, the wear behavior of NiCrBSi self-fluxing alloy coatings deposited from the two innovative powders with efficient chemical compositions by the two-step deposition process was investigated under the three-body abrasion test. After wear tests, wear resistance was investigated, and the worn surfaces were characterized by SEM to determine the main mechanism. These innovate metallic powders with efficient chemical compositions show good wear performance for application in industry.
