Zusammenfassung:The hearing impaired and the deaf encounter difficulties every day in the occupational performance of their daily living activities. There are many intervention strategies to mitigate the limitations derived from their disability, among them the use of support products and support technologies. The design employed in our study was a cross-correlation non-experimental design using a quantitative methodology in the Spanish population. The aim of this study was to learn the predisposition and attitude of the hearing impaired/deaf to the use of new technologies, both specific ones to mitigate or compensate the auditory deficit and those that we use for daily occupational performance in the carrying out the activities of daily life. The results indicate that young people and people with more positive personal and social characteristics, such as motivation, perseverance, extraversion, etc., tend to use a greater number of technologies from which better technological perspectives are derived. In conclusion, technologies must be created that are designed for this group, with promotion and dissemination of those that seem to elicit the most positive results, such as video intermediation systems
