Zusammenfassung: | Since the processes of the formation, entrainment, blending for the vortex rings in the jet in crossflow (JICF) have great effect on the actual engineering application. The JICF is of important significance in the fuel atomization for scramjet engine and film cooling. The vortex ring structures and engineering applications of JICF are investigated and analyzed in this paper. The development of the vortex rings and the structure of the spatial flow field in JICF are discussed, and the influence of several main parameters on the vortex rings of JICF are analyzed.
