Zusammenfassung:The paper deals with the issues related to the friction of carbon-carbon composite against steel in the medium of hydraulic fluid. Variation of friction coefficient from load, speed and temperature is analyzed. Comparison of antifriction properties of Hardcarb TP material with fluoroplastic modified by radiation treatment is performed. It is established that under the conditions of the experiments, the carbon composite has a higher friction coefficient than the fluoroplastic, but acceptable (f = 0.12) for use in friction units. Hardcarb TP material is promising for application in sliding friction friction units in lubrication with AMg-10 working fluid under conditions of increased requirements for the reliability and service life of hydraulic pumps.
