Zusammenfassung:Gastric carcinoma is the fourth-most common cancer worldwide and the fifth-most common malignancy in Turkey. Gastric cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. The overall 5-year survival rate is 15% in the past decade however it has risen over %32 in the recent years. The major factors influencing survival are diagnosis at early stage and more effective treatment methods.
