Zusammenfassung: | Development of sustainable territories’ and legislative basis, reconstruction of governance and financial mechanisms and improvement of private- public partnership (PPP) which are important goals in the development of cities’ territories and architecture policies are impossible to achieve without consistent implementation. During economic crisis Lithuania and the whole world are particularly interested in the models of partnership. One of the most important goals for government is to find ways to encourage the society to become new type cooperative and involved society through the development of cities. It is important to solve these problems because it can help to achieve equilibrium between nature, economics and cities’ development. It is obvious that limited resources require cooperation between businesses, government and society and those relationships are outlined in the other paragraphs. It is found that immediate changes are required in order to achieve sustainable cities’ development. It is important to rationally allocate necessary duties to government and society and get voluntary organizations and cities’ communities involved in order to coordinate necessary actions efficiently. The paper investigates PPP concept in the context of cities’ development, also, methods and possibilities of optimization of partnership management and its development in Lithuania. Furthermore, the paper examines world experience in incentives and obstacles of PPP. |
