Zusammenfassung: | Ever since 1953 there has been a persisting wish among the members of TheSociety of Jesus to enhance pedagogical education. Furthermore, they felt thenecessity to share these experiences. To that end, the Spain Schools Secretariat wascreated, in order to help develop the pedagogical process and help unify all schoolsin Spain. Thus, a new magazine was born, Avance, which served as the mainchannel of communication between the Secretariat and the members of Societyof Jesus. This article's interest is justified since the magazine’s enables us to furtherdelve into the Secretariat’s work, which has proven to be of special relevance inthe jesuistic educative labour. The Avance magazine enables us to further explorethe Secretariat's work, which has proven to be significantly relevant this pastcouple of years. Interest should increase also, since this source has hardly everbeen investigated. Also, quite peculiarly, Avance was an internal magazine withinSociety of Jesus, and thus was free from any form of censorship. |
