Zusammenfassung: | Zhu et al report an algal-beneficial strain, Vibrio maritimus BH16, which was isolated from a diatom (Skeletonema costatum) bloom. Its complete genome was obtained using a combination of PacBio and Illumina technology. An artificial algal bloom induction experiment was performed in six microcosm photobioreactors (PBRs) (100 liters each) filled with natural seawater from the Dapeng Bay. The whole-genome sequencing dataset generated in this study provides a deeper understanding of the relationship between algae and bacteria under the regulation of AHL signals and siderophores. The annotated complete genome sequence of this strain may represent a valuable tool for studying algal-bacterial interactions, providing valuable resources for the genetic dissection of algal growth promoters and symbiotic interaction with host algae. |
