Zusammenfassung:In modern area, religious hostility between Morocco and Spain led to a large number of Spaniards being captured and forcibly migrated to Morocco. In order to provide both spiritual and material support to these captives, the Catholic Church encouraged Franciscan missionaries to establish a permanent religious mission in Morocco. This article discusses the situation of Spanish captives in Morocco, the presence of Christian religious migration in Morocco, the factors that contributed to easing the clergy's mission in Morocco, and the impact of voluntary migration on the situation of Spanish captives.
