Zusammenfassung:The study is aimed at investigating the correlation between the pro-social intention and the job satisfaction of Gadjah Mada University Librarians. The subjects of the study are 70 librarians of Gadjah Mada University. The data is collected using Pro-social Intention Scale, Job Satisfaction Scale and questionnaire. An interview is also conducted with some of the subjects and users to gain a deeper understanding of quantitative analysis results. The first hypothesis of the study suggests that the pro-social intention is positively correlated to the job satisfaction. The higher is the pro-social intention, the higher the job satisfaction is. The results of Pearson product moment correlation analysis indicate that the correlation coefficient between the pro-social intention and the job satisfaction is r = 0,481, p< 0,01. It means that there is a significant correlation between the pro-social intention and the job satisfaction. The second hypothesis suggests that controlling the factors of age and position, the pro-social intention remains positively correlated to the job satisfaction. It is tested using partial correlation analysis. The results of the analysis is r = 0,437, p
