Zusammenfassung: | The current study examines the impact of using Chopped-Carbon-Fiber (CCF) on the density and compressive strength properties of pure gypsum. Four distinct combinations of pure gypsum were used. The combinations are categorized into two groups based on their water-to-pure gypsum ratio of 0.55 and 0.75. Each group set is separated into two groups based on the volume fraction (Vf) of 0.0% and 0.35% of CCF (Fibrous and Non-Fibrous pure gypsum). Three samples measuring 50 * 50 * 50 mm were used for each admixture. The use of CCF in pure gypsum mixtures has been shown to boost and improve compressive strength for two water-to-pure gypsum ratios (W/PG). The rate at which compressive strength improves with the application of CCF is directly proportional to the ratio of W/PG. In addition, it should be noted that an increase in the W/PG ratio leads to a decrease in both density and compressive strength. Conversely, the behavior of the fibrous pure gypsum reduce drop rate of decline in both density and compressive strength.. |
