Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this study is to simulate and analyze the design of a rear independent suspension SLA of racing cars, as an alternative option of the suspension system of these cars in terms of the configuration and reduction of the unsprung mass, a very important factor in cars. competition, compared to the rigid axle suspension currently used. For the simulation and analysis of the design, it is necessary to know technical data of the cars that use the same integral chassis or regulated unibody. Knowing the conditions that the chassis must meet, we proceeded to study the dynamics of the car (lateral and longitudinal transfer of incident load on the rear suspension), where the loads at which it is submitted, and subsequently simulated, studied, designed and selected the components for the suspension kit, taking into account each of the calculated variables. Once the dynamic factors of the car were evaluated, (Operating Conditions, G forces), the design phase of the suspension components was started in the CATIA V5R20 software where the 3D model of the suspension was made and the kinematics were studied ( geometry) of the mechanism to analyze its behavior.
