Les Routes de la soie dans l’Antiquité : une brève histoire des connexions Orient-Occident (4e siècle avant notre ère-6e siècle de notre ère)

This article is a general presentation of how East and West (the Mediterranean world) were interconnected, from the time of Alexander the Great to the end of Antiquity. Sea routes et land routes are considered separately. I also focus on the importance of these exchanges and connexions by examining the particular cases of black pepper and silk.
