Zusammenfassung:The following 17 extant new species of Sciaroidea (Diptera: Bibionomorpha) are described: Ševčík sp. nov. (Bolitophilidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Cecidomyiidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Cecidomyiidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Cecidomyiidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Cecidomyiidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Diadocidiidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Ditomyiidae, Brunei), sp. nov. (Ditomyiidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Ditomyiidae, Thailand), sp. nov. (Keroplatidae, Brunei), sp. nov. (Keroplatidae, Thailand), sp. nov. (Keroplatidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Keroplatidae, Hainan), sp. nov. (Keroplatidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Mycetophilidae, Taiwan), sp. nov. (Mycetophilidae, Czech Republic, Slovakia), and sp. nov. (Sciaroidea incertae sedis, Thailand). Two new genera are described from the mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber, gen. nov. (Ditomyiidae, type species sp. nov., including also sp. nov.), representing the first record of the family Ditomyiidae from the Mesozoic, and gen. nov. (Sciaroidea incertae sedis, type species sp. nov.). Molecular phylogeny of Ditomyiidae, based on two DNA markers (28S, COI), as well as that of Haliday, 1833, based on the mitochondrial COI and 16S fragments, are also presented.
