Zusammenfassung:The work aims to inquire about the classically called Formal Control Instruments of Architecture, which had to be employed in the project process of the Carmen Blanco, a building which can be now contemplated overlooking the city of Granada from its strategic position over the Mauror hill. As we make an approach to the referent object of study using the architectural analysis tools, we discover that the trace of the building is based on the Cordovan Proportion as primitive rule, which is supplemented by the Golden Section and its gnomon to size and position certain auxiliary elements. These results superimposed on those of previous researches related to the genesis of the Carmen, undoubtedly confirm that we are facing an architecture traced by the hands of an architect, the Grenadian José Felipe Giménez Lacal.
