Zusammenfassung: | Radiography is a first approach in a diagnosis of any bone lesion. Besides high technology techniques CT scan (Computed Tomography) MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or bones scintigraphy; histopathology provided the final and conclusive diagnosis of the bone lesions. Accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment are thus necessary to ensure maximum patient survival and maintain optimal function of an affected body part. The sites for primary tumors were lung cancers, breast cancer, prostatic carcinoma, malignant melanoma and squamous cell cancers. Metastatic prostate cancer, Breast cancer and lung cancer shows sclerotic lesion; whereas malignant melanoma shows lytic lesion in plain radiograph. |
