Zusammenfassung:This work aims to expand the limits of social research on religious life in the current stage of modernity through the delimitation of the forms of organization that are developed in it. In this matter, the main proposal of this article is to generate a conceptual category that allows us to observe religious organizations as a minimum unit in social analysis. In order this to happen, it has been appealed to the observation of non-institutional forms of organization, that is, organizations that escape the definition of religious associations and churches (historical or universal) to give way to emerging religious organization forms that develop within society, and are legitimized by it and maintain their vitality through practices and belief systems that draw on both religious traditions and innovations that emerge from the sociocultural context in which they develop.
