The article analyses the process of mobilising young people politically in Europe between the wars. Youth is considered as a period in the life of a human being shaped both socially and historically, to continue analysing the evolution of studies about it and the concrete reality of the mobilisation of young people in the period in question, the factors which defined it and their characteristics. The importance of the international situation and of the inter-relationship between the different European organisations is highlighted. Evidence is also given that, in spite of the differences between the various European countries, there were many common features, which shows the importance of studying the political mobilisation process of young people in a comparative framework.
