Zusammenfassung: | In the context of conceptual data modeling, view integration refers to the activity of integrating and unifying different conceptual schemata modeled over a universe of discourse in a global schema. The integration process includes complex tasks such as identifying common concepts between views, determining appropriate structures and discovering inter-schemes properties. Searching correspondences between conceptual schemata is a critical and non trivial task that usually is done manually, which obviously ha s major limitations. In the last 15 years many researchers have dedicated efforts to discover and combine techniques in the endeavor for automating the process of discovering correspondences between schemata. Only partial solutions to specific domain applications have been proposed. This paper proposes a match operator for data conceptual schemata based on the combination of syntactic and semantic match operators. |
