ENHANCEMENT OF SOCIAL INDICATORS: SIMPLIFIED HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX ADJUSTED FOR INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES

The article discusses the importance of the Group of Twenty (G20) in addressing global challenges, focusing on social justice, the climate crisis, and indigenous communities. It proposes the creation of a simplified Human Development Index to be used globally (G20) for non-urban indigenous communities, considering their particularities and their relevance in carbon capture. Emphasis is placed on the need for sensitive and inclusive public policies. The G20 is crucial in guiding global economic policies that are less unequal and environmentally harmful, contributing to the end of the climate crisis and social justice.
