Relation Between Systemic Immune-Inflammation Index and Post PCI Bleeding Risk in STEMI Patients

Objectives: To investigate the relationship between the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and bleeding complications in ST-elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI). Materials and Methods: This retrospective study included 1778 patients who present...

Zusammenfassung:Objectives: To investigate the relationship between the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and bleeding complications in ST-elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI). Materials and Methods: This retrospective study included 1778 patients who presented with STEMI and underwent pPCI. Patients were divided into two groups: those who developed bleeding and those who did not. The SII values and CRUSADE bleeding score were calculated. Results: In the group with bleeding complications, the ages were 62 (50-73), and 69.6% were male. Multivariate analysis identified age 1.031 (1.015-1.048) - p
