Expansion of Formal Agroecology Education in Brazil: building new Territorialities in the Last 17 years

The formal courses in agroecology have become expanded in Brazil, and in the last four years his offer increases 69%. The expansion of these curses has been a demand from social movements in the country for an education that reflects the social and environmental reality into the peasant territories and generates changes in the construction of a sustainable development model for agriculture. Aiming to understand how the agroecology has been territorialized, it was pursued through an exploratory analysis, using data available on web sites and non-governmental platforms, analyzing qualitatively the agroecology courses in three education levels. It was concluded that the establishment of formal courses generate other territorialities in the field and new perspectives about the professional training.
