Zusammenfassung: | Karin Knorr Cetina was already a well established figure in the Sociology of Science and Technology when, in the mid-1990s, she changed the focus of her ethnographic investigations to financial markets. What followed was a series of edited books and journal articles that made significant contributions to the Sociology of Finance. In this interview, Karin, who is the Otto Borchert Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, reflects on the intellectual drivers of her research interests in financial markets, on the evolution and challenges of the field since the 1990s. |
