Zusammenfassung: | Transverse myelitis (TM) is a rare disease. It may present as the primary case or it may present as associated with inflammatory diseases following an autoimmune or infectious condition. Lyme disease involves cranial nerve neuropathy, meningitis, and radiculopathy neurologically, while only 4-5% of cases with neuroborreliosis show TM.
