Long-term follow-up in the International Study of Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms (ISUIA) [6] and the International Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Aneurysm Trial (ISAT) has validated both microsurgical clipping and endovascular coiling in the treatment of ruptured and unruptured aneurysms [7].
