Zusammenfassung: | Compound words, the vast majority of the Modern Chinese lexicon, are formed by characters and can be analyzed morphologically and semantically, which facilitates lexical inference as a vocabulary learning method. Nevertheless, in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, this method goes unrecognized, due to the lack of explanation of either the meanings of the characters or the rules of compound word formation. This work reveals this problem and studies the method from morphological, lexematic and didactic perspectives, demonstrating its viability and efficacy and putting forward suggestions for its teaching. |
