Zusammenfassung: | The 8th German Congress of University Law which took place in Cologne on Wednesday, 8th of May 2013, discussed the reformed salary system for professors at German universities. With a decision dated on the 14th of February 2012 the German Constitutional Court had declared the amount of salary of a professor from Hessen as unconstitutional. Until now the German Bundestag and the parliaments of many German federal states had discussed or already passed new bills concerning the professors' salaries. The participants of the German Congress of University Law in Cologne concluded that these new bills would generate new constitutional problems. (HRK / Abstract übernommen). |
