Zusammenfassung:Johannes Sturm (1507-1589) was an protestant educator from sixteenth century wich became really respected by his work as a teacher, pedagogue and rector of gymnasiumof Strasbourg in France. His plan to the gymnasium of the city, issued in 1538 was so remarkable that the school attracted students from all over reformed Europe. Scholae Lavingnae, wrote in 1565, was another Sturm’s Project, this time, for the Lauingen city, German, bringing many details about the curriculum and the method proposed by him. The text here used was a translation from latim to the english found in the book: Johannes Sturm on education from 1995.The research was developed based on a bibliographical survey guided by historiographical analysis in the area of Education research. Johannes Sturm (1507-1589) foi um educador protestante do século XVI que se tornou muito respeitado por seu trabalho enquanto professor, pedagogo e diretor do gymnasiumde Estraburgo na França. Seu plano para o gymnasium da cidade, publicado em 1538, foi tão notável que o colégio atraiu alunos de toda a Europa protestante. Scholae Lavingnae, escrito em 1565, foi outro projeto de Sturm, desta vez, para a cidade de Lauingen, na Alemanha, e traz detalhes sobre o currículo e o método proposto por ele. O texto aqui utilizado na análise foi uma tradução do latim para o inglês que se encontra no livro: Johannes Sturm on education de 1995.
