Zusammenfassung:Currently, educational institutions at the secondary level do not use technological tools to improve learning in different areas of knowledge such as mathematics. For this reason, the objective of this research is to address the use of the Educaplay platform as a formative assessment resource for learning mathematics, which was carried out at the "José Prócer Cuero y Caicedo" Educational Unit in the province of Macas in the Ecuadorian Amazon, The implementation of the platform has been approached in response to the challenges posed by the formative assessment in mathematics by students. Traditionally, the activities have been developed without interactive material that positively supports the influence of students in the same way written or oral questionnaires are used, which often cause demotivation and disinterest among students. A quantitative method of intentional sampling was used as a study strategy, collecting data through the administration of two surveys, the pre-test that was implemented to the students to know the current point of view they perceive about the platform. The results indicated the lack of knowledge of Educaplay for their formative evaluation, causing demotivation and low performance in their academic activities. After the socialization on the advantages and characteristics of the post-test was implemented, a significant change could be evidenced, by essentially establishing an innovative methodology such as learning.   En la actualidad las instituciones educativas de nivel de formación secundaria no emplean herramientas tecnológicas para mejorar el aprendizaje de distintas áreas del conocimiento como es la materia de matemáticas, en tal razón el objetivo de este investigación fue abordar el uso de la plataforma de Educaplay como recurso de evaluación formativa para el aprendizaje de matemáticas el cual se llevó a cabo en la Unidad Educativa “José Prócer Cuero y Caicedo” Provincia de Macas en la amazonia Ecuatoriana, contestando a la línea de investigación Educación virtual y herramientas digitales para el aprendizaje, con respecto a la implementación de la plataforma se ha abordado en respuesta a los retos que plantea la evaluación formativa en matemáticas por parte de los alumnos.
