Zusammenfassung: | The research highlights the importance of technological innovation within the framework of the educational approach, externalizing relevant capacities of teachers and students, which actively involves the creation of knowledge, leading to the development of skills in view of quality educational performance. which makes it viable to encourage students to use technology with the intention of acquiring independence and establishing their discernment from the conception of the teaching-learning process. From this arises the objective of analyzing the role that technological innovation plays within the framework of the educational approach of the Faculty of Basic Sciences of the Technical University of Manabí. The research used a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental design, with a population of 163 participants through stratified random sampling. Data was stored with a validated survey and analyzed statistically, in compliance with ethical and legal considerations. The teachers state that they are adapted to the use of technological resources, with 70% and the students with 90% adaptation. Likewise, it is also found that the teacher promotes high-impact pedagogical activities with technological innovations with 87% by the teachers and 81% selected by the students, which shows that there is a diversity of pedagogical activities with a high capacity for learning. The findings of this research lead to a massive active and motivational participation of teachers who promote experiences with technological innovation in the teaching-learning process.
La investigación destaca la importancia de la innovación tecnológica en el marco del enfoque educativo, exteriorizando capacidades relevantes de docentes y estudiantes, lo que implica de forma activa en la creación del conocimiento, acarreando el desarrollo de destrezas en miras de un desempeño educativo con calidad, lo que hace viable impulsar a los estudiantes hacia el uso de la tecnología con la intención de adquirir independencia y establecer su discernimiento desde la concepción del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. De ahí surge el objetivo de analizar el rol que desempeña la innovación tecnológica en el marco del enfoque educativo de la Facultad de Ciencias Básicas de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí.
