Zusammenfassung:Introduction: The existing Educational Resources for the teaching of the Research Methodology subject are insufficient. Objective: To contribute to the improvement of the teaching aids in the Research Methodology subject through the development of an Open Educational Resource (OER) that synthesizes, organizes and guides the information contained in the existing resources, facilitating the development of the teaching-learning process of The subject. Methods: The Lilacs and Medline databases, the Google academic search engine and the Infomed network were used. The course program was analyzed. The essentials of the content of both methodologies (quantitative and qualitative) dispersed in different texts were summarized, the most representative scientific articles recovered from the bibliographic search were organized by themes and types of studies, and the questions that guide their analysis. Results: An OER was developed for the Research Methodology subject, with contents summarized through SmartArt, examples, articles and exercises for the adequate teaching of said topics and the questions that guide their analysis. It addresses all types of studies and designs research. The guidelines for the analysis of the articles and the corresponding exercises were prepared. Conclusions: this open educational resource is a didactic resource that facilitates understanding and study by Medical Sciences students who take the Research Methodology course. Introducción: Los Recursos Educativos existentes para la enseñanza de la asignatura Metodología de la Investigación son insuficientes. Objetivo: Contribuir al perfeccionamiento de los medios de enseñanza en la asignatura Metodología de la Investigación mediante la elaboración de un Recurso Educativo Abierto (REA) que sintetice, organice y oriente la información contenida en los recursos existentes facilitando el desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de la asignatura. Métodos: Se utilizaron las bases de datos Lilacs y Medline, el buscador Google académico y la red de Infomed. Se analizó el programa de la asignatura. Se resumieron las esencialidades del contenido de ambas metodologías (cuantitativa y cualitativa) dispersas en diferentes textos, se organizaron por temas y tipos de estudios los artículos científicos más representativos recuperados a partir de la búsqueda bibliográfica y se redactaron por el orden del programa las preguntas que orientan el análisis de los mismos.
