Zusammenfassung: | This study aims to delve into the intricacies of educational research, to understand the patterns in its methodological assumptions, its most recurrent procedural characteristics, and precisely how the data that supports research in the area is obtained. The focus of the research was on the master's productions from 2013 to 2018 of a postgraduate program in education evaluated by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes/MEC) with concept 7 (seven). As a research problem, we asked how the master's dissertations, with a qualitative approach, from a graduate program in education concept 7, explain their methodology and techniques for data collection. Based on a documentary search carried out on the Sucupira Platform, with the time frame delimited, we identified 98 dissertations, 96 of which were characterized as qualitative, 01 as quantitative and 01 as mixed. Thus, this article aims to identify the methodological patterns for the field of education in dissertations from 2013 to 2018, from a postgraduate program in education concept 7. A large predominance of the qualitative approach was found in educational research. It was also noted that in relation to the method, the Case Study, Documentary Research and Oral History have a significant frequency over the others and with regard to data collection techniques, the interview stands out. Finally, a significant number of dissertations failed to define the research method.
Adentrar nos meandros da pesquisa educacional, compreender padrões em seus pressupostos metodológicos, suas características procedimentais mais recorrentes, precisamente, como se obtém os dados que sustentam a investigação na área é baliza do presente estudo. O foco da pesquisa centrou-se nas produções de mestrado dos anos de 2013 a 2018 de um programa de pós-graduação em educação avaliado pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes/MEC) com conceito 7 (sete). Como problema da pesquisa questionou-se como as dissertações de mestrado, com abordagem qualitativa, de um programa de pós-graduação em educação conceito 7, explanam sua metodologia e técnicas para coleta de dados. A partir de uma pesquisa documental realizada na Plataforma Sucupira, com o recorte temporal delimitado, identificamos 98 dissertações, sendo 96 caracterizadas como qualitativa, 01 quantitativa e 01 mista.
