Relación entre autoestima y regulación emocional en adolescentes en un colegio de la ciudad de Loja, Ecuador

Adolescence is an essential period for the generation and establishment of self-acceptance, interpersonal relationships, with emphasis on self-esteem and emotional regulation, important factors for well-being. Therefore, the research aimed to determine the relationship between self-esteem and emotional regulation in adolescents. To achieve the aforementioned, a methodology with a quantitative approach, descriptive, correlational scope, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design was used. The 201 participants were selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling, to whom the instrument was applied: Coopersmith Questionnaire and the DERS instrument.
