Zusammenfassung:Objective: To determine the impact of sex education on the early onset of sexual intercourse among students of first, second and third year of baccalaureate colleges of Guayaquil. Methodology: This is an observational, transversal study where the sample was chosen systematically to identify variables related to sexuality at an early age( n=636). Students of both sexes from public and private high schools were included, in which it was determined the number of teenagers who have sex(n= 217)  through the application of a survey that allowed us to measure the association between the number of adolescents who received sex education and used contraceptive methods. Results: The 34.11% ( n=217)  of adolescents from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of high school from public and private schools have had sexual intercourse.
