Zusammenfassung:Objective. The existing correlations between the second level subdimensions and the first level dimensions and subdimensions of the CECAPEU questionnaire were evaluated in order to know how a sample of university students manifest their learning to learn competence in relation to sex, academic year, sport and age. Method. A total of 257 university students voluntarily participated in the study corresponding to the Faculty of Physical Education of the National Pedagogical University in Bogota, Colombia. This was an exploratory-correlational study of cross-sectional scope. The sample of students is random, since it depended on their voluntary participation. The statistical analysis was performed in three parts: 1) Spearman correlation tests were performed with Shapiro-Wilk test; 2) multiple factorial analysis was performed and; 3) a non-parametric multivariate model based on Wilks' Lambda statistic was used. Results. In general, all the second-level subdimensions presented a positive correlation, which means that students who have higher levels in some of the subdimensions will also tend to have higher levels in other dimensions. Conclusions. It is highlighted that students with high levels in problem solving are associated with having high levels of planning, organization and time management and high levels of self-evaluation, control and self-regulation, while, students who have high levels of social values are associated with having higher levels of attitudes of cooperation and solidarity; interpersonal relationships, highlighting in them the ethical dimension. Finally, five profiles were found that induce to recognize the diversity of the learning manifested by university students.
