Revisión integrativa sobre las representaciones sociales de la enfermería posteriores a la primera ola de la pandemia por el COVID 19

This is an integrative review on the social representations of nursing after the first wave of the COVID 19 pandemic, during the period 2020-2022. The review was carried out applying the Whittemore and Knafl method in scientific databases such as PUBMED, SCIELO, LILACS and Google Scholar. Being a new subject, the results were brief and only 5 scientific articles were selected. Among the results found, the majority of research of Brazilian origin predominates while, in other countries, the term "social image" has been given a greater connotation. Among the social representations that have been generated after the first wave, the nurse stands out as a superhero, but at the same time as a devalued professional, who fulfills multiple roles, and that, in addition, the working conditions they faced were highly inadequate. such as work overload, low pay and few personal protection implements. All this makes her feel dissatisfied in her work and not recognized at a social level. Relevance is also given to caring for herself and the spiritual care that she provided in the first wave of the pandemic. It is concluded that the COVID 19 pandemic made the profession very visible, but also exposed the shortcomings of the health system in which it is inserted. Trátase de una revisión integrativa sobre las representaciones sociales de la enfermería posterior a la primera ola de la pandemia por el COVID 19, durante el periodo 2020-2022. La revisión fue realizada aplicando el método de Whittemore y Knafl en bases de datos científicas como PUBMED, SCIELO, LILACS y Google académico. Al ser un tema novel, los resultados fueron escuetos y solo se seleccionaron 5 artículos científicos. Dentro de los resultados encontrados, predominan en su mayoría, las investigaciones de origen brasileño mientras que, en otros países, se ha dado mayor connotación al término “imagen social”. Entre las representaciones sociales que se han generado posteriores a la primera ola, destacan a la enfermera como súper heroína, pero al mismo tiempo como una profesional desvalorizada, que cumple múltiples roles, y que, además, las condiciones laborales que enfrentaron fueron por demás inadecuadas tales como la sobrecarga laboral, remuneración baja y pocos implementos de protección personal. Todo esto la hace sentir insatisfecha en su trabajo y no reconocida a nivel social. Se da también relevancia al cuidado de sí misma y el cuidado espiritual que ella providenció en la primera ola de la pandemia. Se conclu
