Zusammenfassung:Coastal swamps contribute to preventing coastal flooding, help retain the advance of saline intrusion,are sources of biodiversity, provide nutrients to the sea and help landscape connectivity. The flora associated with the formation of coastal swamp in La Coloma has been poorly studied, which is evident in the scarce information about it, so this research has had as its objective: to inventory the flora associated with a patch of coastal swamp in La Coloma, Pinar del Río. A total of 10 plots of 100 m² were raised in a simple random manner, determining the sampling intensity from the species-area curve. Internationally recognized taxonomic keys such as online encyclopedias were used. The species, genus and family were identified; as well as their classification according to size into herbaceous, shrubby and epiphytic. The most representative species and those of greatest ecological importance were determined by calculating absolute and relative frequency, absolute and relative abundance, relative dominance, as well as the Ecological Importance Value index. The patch is dominated by three large groups, the jucaral, the guanal and the swamp grassland. 40 species were identified, distributed in 38 genera and 30 families. The most representative species and the greatest value of ecological importance for the ecosystem were Paspalum vaginatum(Sw.), Copernicia hospital (Mart.), Sesuvium portulacastrum(L.), Cameraria latifolia (L.) and Tillandsia utriculata (L. Os pântanos costeiros contribuem para prevenir as inundações costeiras, ajudam a reter o avanço da intrusão salina, são fontes de biodiversidade, fornecem nutrientes ao mar e ajudam a conectividade da paisagem. A flora associada à formação do pântano costeiro em La Coloma tem sido pouco estudada, o que fica evidente na escassa informação sobre o assunto, portanto esta pesquisa teve como objetivo: inventariar a flora associada a uma mancha de pântano costeiro em La Coloma, Pinar del Rio. Foram levantadas 10 parcelas de 100 m² de forma aleatória simples, determinando-se a intensidade amostral a partir da curva espécie-área. Foram utilizadas chaves taxonômicas reconhecidas internacionalmente, como enciclopédias online. Foram identificadas a espécie, gênero e família; bem como sua classificação quanto ao porte em herbáceas, arbustivas e epífitas.
