Sumak kawsay: un modelo constructuvista para mejorar la sostenibilidad energética en el Ecuador

The sumak kawsay is born from the Andean peoples and comes from the Quechua term that means living a dignified life, fully respecting the rights of people and most importantly respecting and living in harmony with nature in a context of energy sovereignty. The sumak kawsay has become an opportunity to build a better way of life for people, allowing them to live in a healthy and balanced environment, thus obtaining sustainable development, without leaving aside the protection of the environment and the conservation of biodiversity as a condition for the well-being of human beings. To carry out this conceptualization, equitable and responsible environment with nature-man, 13 principles were taken into account in which they show that each of them is linked to Pachamama, improving the quality of life of Ecuadorians. Sustainability has three fundamental axes, which are the economy, the social and the environmental, which allows achieving productive diversification and economic growth in order to promote energy sovereignty through clean energy generation projects that guarantee this public and strategic service through national energy regulations and respect for the enshrined rights of nature and the community as typified by the 2008 Ecuadorian Magna Carta and its secondary regulations. El sumak kawsay nace de los pueblos andinos y viene del término quechua que significa vivir una vida digna, en plenitud respetando los derechos de las personas y lo más importante respetar y vivir en armonía con la naturaleza en un contexto de soberanía energética. El sumak kawsay se ha convertido en una oportunidad para construir una mejor forma de vida para las personas, permitiéndose vivir en un ambiente sano y equilibrado obteniendo así un desarrollo sostenible, sin dejar al lado la protección al medio ambiente y la conservación de la biodiversidad como una condición para el bienestar de los seres humanos. Para llevar a cabo esta conceptualización, ambiente equitativo y responsable con la naturaleza-hombre se tomaron en cuenta 13 principios en el cual muestran que cada uno de ellos está vinculado con la Pachamama mejorando la calidad de vida de los ecuatorianos. La sostenibilidad tiene tres ejes fundamentales que es la economía, lo social y ambiental lo que permite lograr una diversificación productiva y crecimiento económico con el fin de impulsar una soberanía energética a través de proyectos de generación de energía limpia que garanticen este servicio público y estratégico
