Zusammenfassung: | COVID-19 is the most recent disease that affected all people, thus causing a pandemic. The
problems with this disease are being studied since it leaves sequelae, which is causing a new
Multisystemic Inflammatory Syndrome that attacks any age group. but it is more compromising in
children, it is extremely important to know this new disease in depth in order to treat it. Regarding
the clinic, different signs and symptoms are observed and analyzed, the most specific being fever,
acute gastrointestinal problems, affection in the visual part and in the skin mucosa. In patients who
have a positive serological picture in SARS-CoV-2, the complementary tests that must be carried
out are a complete blood count, elevation of inflammatory markers and alteration in coagulation
tests. In various cases, pediatric patients may present hypertransaminasemia, nitrogen retention,
macrophage activity, thus forming this new syndrome. For a treatment in the pediatric area, drugs
such as corticosteroids, intravenous immunoglobulin and acetylsalicylic acid were chosen, until
now it continues to be implemented without changing them for others, because these drugs are
effective, being very competitive against this syndrome. Pediatric patients with this syndrome
cannot be referred to other diseases, those that are ruled out are aneurysms of coronary origin,
untreated pediatric patients can have myocarditis, shock, it is important that the patient should be
monitored in care intensive so as not to compromise life, since their defenses are deficient so they
are very susceptible
