Zusammenfassung:Infectious Laryngotracheitis (ILT) is a viral disease that affects the respiratory system of chickens and chickens and is included in the list of diseases of mandatory declaration of the OIE (World Organization of Animal Health), which is detailed in the article 10.3 of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code (OIE, 2012), therefore, a management is needed to reduce the mortality rates of this disease, this being the purpose of this investigation. To obtain the results, it was analyzed by means of "t- Student, to evaluate and verify the influence of Infectious Laryngotracheitis (gallid herpesvirus 1) on the productive behavior of Broiler chickens in the Cumanda county of Chimborazo Province. Annual lots for two consecutive years as follows: C1S: Canton Cumanda sealthy, AE1E: General Canton Antonio Elizalde Sick, C2S: Canton Cumandá sealthy, AE2E General Canton Antonio Elizalde Sick, evaluating different production parameters during 120 days of research. that in year 1, the chickens in Cumandá canton recorded weights of 631.8 ± 0.9 g at 21 days, weight gains of 589.6 ± 0.1 g, and feed intake of 912.1 ± 3.4 g, values that differ significantly of chickens raised in the canton General Antonio Elizalde with weights of 606.50 g at 21 days, weight gains of 561.7 ± 5.5 g., and a feed intake of 77 4.4 ± 27.7 g., By means of the serological analysis with the ELISA technique, negative results were determined; in 2014, it can be determined that the presence of the disease was mild because it did not present mortalities.
